Mooresville’s swimmers not only continued to post lower times and raise individual scores, they broke two school records in the process of Thursday’s Senior Night dual meet with Whiteland in the Curry Center Natatorium.

Levi Jennings, a junior, broke his own six-dive school record with a score of 215.50.

Keegan Seyerle, a senior, established a new school record of 51.03 seconds in the 100-yard freestyle. He also won the 50 freestyle in a personal best 23.23 seconds.

“Last night went very well for both the girls and boys,” reported co-coach Stephanie Dockery. “We had several swimmers who swam personal-best times, as well as a couple of school records.”

She wasn’t kidding.

In the 200-yard freestyle, senior Tori Gilbert took first place with a personal-best time of 2:14.75.

Ditto for sophomore Baleigh Hance, who won the 200 individual medley with a personal best of 2:26.06. She repeated that effort in the 500 freestyle with a personal best of 5:56.95.

Sydney Kanouse, a junior, won the girls’ 50 freestyle with a personal-best 27.85 and won the 100 backstroke in a personal-best 1:09.40.

Other winners came from freshman Haley Wilson, 1:07.31 in the 100 butterfly; senior Katy Hendrickson, 1:20.48 in the 100 breaststroke; the girls’ 200 medley relay quartet of Hance, Hendrickson, Wilson and Kanouse, winning in 2:07.06; the boys’ 400 freestyle relay, which had a season best of 3:50.22, and the girls, who won their side of the event in 4:13.27.

In addition, Marie Vaupel swam a personal best of 1:50.95 in the 100 backstroke.

Whiteland, deeper and more season, swept the meet. The boys totaled 95 points to 81 for the Pioneers, and the girls won by a 101-81 margin.

The boys next join Cascade in a three-way meet at Beech Grove at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. Next up for the girls is the Jan. 31 and Feb. 2 IHSAA sectional meet at Franklin.

Club Picture Taking Day

So heute werden Bilder der verschiedenen Clubs fürs Jahrbuch gemacht. Also immer nett Lächeln.

5 Monate

So today is my 5 month mark, which means there are only 4 months and 27 Days more to go until I am heading back home.

So I decided to show that my spelling is slightly better and write a whole Post in English.

Yesterday we've got Midstates Part 1, which means I don't have to swim on Saturday, because I was to slow, but I couldn't care less. I droped in both Events one Second. Which means I am at 38 sec in my 50 free, and in 1:28 min in my 100 free. Which is for me a great achievement. So this also marks that the almost end of the Season. This means I am short before being back on the Track and run my little heart out. But I achieved a goal I setted myself, the goal that I wanted to swimm one season competitive. So Mission achieved, and we can move on to new havens.

New Years Eve was boring, the Americans have no sense for Firework. So I spendet my New Years Eve half asleep on the couch.

Yeah and we will go back to school on Thursday, I still don't know if I had passed my Finals. Only my 75% in Bio and my B+ in Spanish, but I could die for knowing Math and History. I don't need to know English, because I  know I've had done awesome

So after all here a few pictures I had made on New Years Day:
